Happy Monday Friends! SO, Today I am in Virginia once again for a fabulous learning experience. I can’t wait to share more of it with you, but today I am sharing something better! MY SECRET WEAPON!

Most of you know that I am a full time photographer and a full time mommy to five boys! I think FULL perfectly describes every aspect of my life, especially my heart! When I share those things with people, I usually get asked HOW DO YOU DO IT ALL? And today, I am going to share with you HOW!

My secret- MY HUSBAND! This man is my complete and total support system, cheering section and life supporter. He gets me through the tough times.

He sees it all. The nights I say up editing until 4am just to get a session finished for a client. The way I come home exhausted from a wedding, after tucking 5 kids in bed and still boot up the computer to download cards and edit sneak peeks. He sees the over-obsessing on images for the new webpage. He sees the tears shed when I want something so badly. He sees the pre-wedding meltdowns that I have from the pressure of the day. He also sees the high I get when the day finally begins. He sees me obsess over detail shots, plan out portrait spots, and test lighting. He sees the endless to-do list that keeps this business afloat. He sees all the things that no one else will ever see. But it is more than SEEING!

He is the one who brings me a cheerwine when I need the extra caffiene to carry me through that late night, even if that means he has to drive to the gas station at midnight to get it.

He is the one who likes every Facebook post I ever put up, before I even know he’s seen it!

He is the one who tells me after a long day how proud he is of me for working so hard.

He is the one who pushes me to keep dreaming and chasing those dreams no matter what.

He is the one that poses for test shots on wedding days, even though he hates it.

He is the one that brings me TONS of glasses of water on the wedding day even though I will ask for another right after I drink it.

He is the one who tells me to go for it when it comes to any purchase I want to make and this year, it has been a lot of business purchases. EEK!

He is the one who watches our five boys, changes diapers, cooks meals and kisses boo-boos in my absence just so that I can follow my dream and attend workshops or conferences. And that one right there, may top all the things he ever does for me!

It is hard to leave behind 5 kids. It is hard to walk away for ONE DAY, let along 2.5. It is hard to not worry about dinners being cooked or lunchboxes packed. But with my hubby, I never have to worry. He has it. Always has. These boys adore him the same way that I do! And while I am gone, they will be well loved and well taken care of the same way that I am by him.

But Most of all, he is the one thing that is SO GOOD in my life that it makes me look forward to coming back home to him. 🙂
