Josh was an upperclassman and a friend of Ashley’s brother growing up. She admits that he was fun to look at but probably didn’t know she existed back then. But later in life when she bought tickets for her brother and his wife to a concert, Josh came along and they were together ever since. It is funny how life does that. And seeing them together, it is certain that they are meant to be. Josh and Ashley like to have fun and they do a lot of laughing together. When she mentioned during our first meeting that her brother lived in Savannah and they loved to go visit there, I couldn’t help but mention that would be a fun spot for engagement photos!! And Savannah did not disappoint!! We started at the stunning Wormsloe Plantation (any Forrest Gump fans out there?). I could have shot the entire session right there at that entrance. The line of mossy trees stretched as far as you could see made my heart go pitter patter!! But as we walked the streets of historic Savannah, I fell in love again! We started at the Mercer Williams house (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil fans?) which Ashley just loves. And that entire area is just gorgeous surrounding it. I loved finding stoops and sidewalks full of charm to use! Here are a few favorites from their session!
