I have people ask me all the time if I shoot family sessions anymore. Because I don’t do a ton of them and I rarely advertise it, but this fall, I took on a few days of mini sessions that I announced via instagram (go follow me to find out the next round!). I love when I do offer them because almost all the families that book me are past wedding clients and l love capturing their families!! Rebecca (and her mom) had booked me for her mini session the same weekend my Ashton had emergency surgery for his appendix. Luckily, we were able to reschedule to a time that worked so much better and allowed me to come to their family land! I loved shooting both their families the same time too because it allowed us to do big group shots and give Calvin breaks as needed to sit on lawnmowers or run around the yard which he loved!
