It was Easter weekend and Taylor invited Brooke to walk on the beach. They walked hand in hand in the sand as he asked her “Are you sure you love me?” and “How much do you love me?” which Brooke thought was so odd for him. But soon it all made sense as she found him on one knee in front of her with a gorgeous diamond ring. They both stood on the beach crying happy tears. It was a day they will never forget.
They met in high school, where Taylor was a year ahead of her. They had mutual friends and would bump into each other often. When they both attended UNC Charlotte for college, they would meet up again. Brooke loved having a familiar face around during her transition to college. They started hanging out a lot and their friends all teased how they should date. They both thought the idea was crazy, but found themselves hanging out together more and more. Then something changed Brooke’s Junior year and they officially began dating. There is so much to be said about being friends first. These two knew each other so well by the time they started dating. And I could tell at their session that they cared so deeply for each other. They would laugh together so easily but the way Taylor looked at Brooke would make you melt. They were truly meant to be! We captured their engagement session at Pilot mountain. The breathtaking views were nothing compared to the love these two share. I have so many favorites of these two!
