The longer I do wedding photography, the more deeply I find meaning in it. In a world of pinterest, where weddings seem to be about the details or huge party, I see them in a different light. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE DETAILS! But I am starting to see marriage for so much more. It is a legacy starting point. That day is where a new family begins and from that will stem so many blessings. When I look at an extended family and see children and grandchildren and sometimes even great grandchildren it just humbles me that all those people are right there because two people fell in love.

And because that marriage is the starting point of all that greatness that will be one day, it does deserve to be celebrated with beautiful details and a huge party- because it is a big deal. It is the moment that will start the future.
I am honored that I was able to capture the beginning for Tatum and Elijah. And now years later, right back at their wedding venue, we captured their sweet little family of soon to be 4!
