I didn’t know if I was going to have enough photos of these two to share. You see, I spent so much time talking to them during their session, that I had to remind myself that we were taking photos. Usually it is the opposite for me. Usually I am so focused on taking photos that nothing can distract me. But this day was different. These two are just so easy to talk to. From the moment they met me at the Bald Head Island Ferry Terminal, we couldn’t stop chatting. It is funny how some people you just click with like that. I have met up with Emily a few times before and it was the same way each time. But I have to say, meeting them together was so much fun! I honestly would have thought they had been married for a LOT longer if I wasn’t there to do their one year anniversary photos. These two know each other so well. You can tell that marriage suits them. The entire session they were playing around, teasing each other and just completely open. It is one of the things I love most about Anniversary sessions. Couples are just so much more relaxed and at peace with each other.
We had a beautiful evening on the gorgeous Bald Head Island for their session. We literally shot until all the light was gone! These two were so natural together they made my job easy! Here are some favorites….
