Last fall I took my kiddos to the Old Sheldon Ruins for our family photos. I fell in love with that spot after we first visited years ago. It just has such history and texture that begs to be captured. After we left our family session, I message my friend Nicki from Nicki Paige Collection and we dreamed up this shoot. It was originally supposed to be in February, but the weather postponed it and I couldn’t be more happy that it did! The day of our shoot was sunny and 82 and just gorgeous! Spring was coming back to life in the trees. We wanted a moody elopement type feel for this shoot, which a bit opposite of my normal. I am light and bright for the most part but I LOVE color and the chance to shoot something outside my normal in my style was so fun! Our shoot dreams came true as a motorcycle pulled up right and Brittani put that leather jacket on and we begged them to let us use it for a few shots and they happily agreed! It MADE our shoot and I love it so much! Enjoy a few peeks of our Old Sheldon Elopement!
