They were on their way to an engagement party, or so she thought. As they neared the house, things started to look familiar. After finding they were alone in that beautiful lake house, Amanda realized she wasn’t there for an engagement party, but instead her own engagement. Andy had brought her back to the place where they met, beautifully decorated it with her favorite flowers- sunflowers, candles and a picnic. He even had a friend hide in the bushes and take photos of the moment. It was at that very spot that they had met months before at a lake party. Amanda admits that she picked Andy out from the group that day as someone she thought would enjoy jet skiing and tubing at the same pace as her. And she was right. They had a great time and then for weeks after Andy tried to get her to another group function but she could never make it. Finally he called and asked her on an official date and the rest is history. Back at that lake house where it all began, they began another chapter together with a promise to grow old side by side. Amanda had found her lifetime partner that would forever go at the same pace!
Amanda and Andy like adventure. They enjoy hiking and traveling and nature, so the mountains provided a perfect fit for their engagement photos! We met on a cloudy day and capture the two of them with beautiful scenery all around. One thing I quickly noticed about these two is how naturally they fit together. She was right when she thought they would be a similar pace in life. The two of them were perfectly in sync the entire time! And not only are they stunning, but they are two of the sweetest people as well. I enjoyed chatting and getting to know them during our session. And then I just have to say how perfect their outfits were! I was in LOVE! I had so many favorites it was hard to narrow down which ones to share on the blog!
Thank you Andy and Amanda for an awesome session! I can’t wait for your wedding next year!
